"After a long day exploring Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle we were famished. We found this place on our way back to our Airbnb. Delicious burgers and even better potato wedges/fries (crispy, hot, and soft on the inside drizzled with parmesan). With our bellies full and our alcohol content increased in our blood stream, we trudged back home for a shower and crashed to sleep for another adventure tomorrow. They accept credit cards. "Kunda is a very beautiful spot. We arrived to an empty restaurant mid-Covid, mid-afternoon, mid-week. But we were quickly greeted with SUCH warmth by the two owners, who were so lovely and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about vegan food, fresh produce, and sustainability. They talked us through the options and we both ate the very delicious (and fresh) burger. The menu was limited due to the reality of the times (less customers, they order less food) but the burger was spot on. And the after-dinner chocs too, little pieces of heaven. Can't recommend this place enough, nor gush about the delightful owners enough! A beautiful dining experience."

"One of the best burgers I've ever had, went three times in a week, good price, good service and everything made to order. You can tell they use quality meats and the wedges are spot on. Will return again as I'm regularly in chiang rai"

"Fairly basic selections but good coffee in a very relaxed setting. A surprising amount of people come here to take photos, probably for the 'gram. Good wifi for working remotely. Avoid the corner seats as the mosquitoes tend to lurk there."

"Beautiful place inside and outside! Good service. Not vegetarian/vegan friendly. Deserts/drinks look promising in the menu pictures. They might be good. However, the white chocolate drink barely had a taste of white chocolate and certainly did not contain chocolate as depicted. Its consistency was of milk in a medium sized glass decorated with a beautiful little flower. Finally, this is the first cafe that charged me 3% for a creditcard payment (Mastercard). With 550 bath for a vegetarian pizza and glass of milk, asking another 17 Bath is greedy. Go figure… it left a stronger after-taste than the milk."

"This is my lucky place! After months in Thailand it is refreshing to take a break from typical Thai dishes. Red Pa Yai is this break you are looking for. The flavors are all there and the service corresponds to the size of the food! The place is clean and very cheap. Like I'm back in Dubai! The staff was attentive and the food came out quite quickly. In Chiang Rai for a few days and will definitely be back for more!"
