"Decent Korean restaurant. This is probably the only choice of Korean restaurant around Maesai area. Not much selection of food to choose, they do have the basic Jajangmyoen, Bibimbap and Ramyoen. Bingsu also available from time to time."

"The standard steak is so big that you can't finish one dish alone. full of cheese We really like mashed potatoes. The mashed potato is the best I've ever had. It's soft, fragrant, creamy and buttery. I really like it I got a free cup of Pang Khon coffee. Is it just to taste it or is it because we are constantly obsessed with coffee? So he gave me a taste, I don't know why but thank you"

"If you take the bus from CNX to Mae Sai for a border trip and do not take too long in Burma, you can get from the border on the Thai side, left side of the road and turn left on Tessaban Soi 6, below approx. 30m and find this absolute jewel. Delicious, hot and fresh, huge portions for less than 40-50b a dish. Family owned and operated and super comfortable for a border race, after eating head back to the main road and get a motorcycle taxi back to the bus station for 50b. You also have a small shop selling Indian and Nepalese goods inside and on the street there is usually a car selling fried snacks, many vegan. You can walk along the main road and bend, as I described or follow the map on Happy Cow, which me in reverse roads, just 3-4 minutes from the border. Enjoy!"

"As the road south of the market begins uphill, there is an inconspicuous load at the corner w/ one youta yellow flag. the noodles are made in the house, can dry or with suppee. the owner speaks Chinese, thai, and has created a small card with some English on it to help me find it. it can be diabolical hard to find dumplings without meat in them, so I hope that the vegans can overlook my joy to find a place that traditional i leek roasted w/ a small dipping bowl like china does. I appreciate the reusable paprika, low price, and especially the noodles are great, with a perfect mix of sweet, mushrooms, tofu and a spicy tomato sauce. local often keep in w/children to go out or eat on the hocker. the friendly owner gives them tee if they do not ask for water. this is the perfect place in mae sai for the few weeks of the cool weather."
