the food was wonderful! I had the fresh ravioli and felt like in italy. they make it fresh every day. we recommend this casual environment restaurant if you want italian in mykonos. also it was in the lively opposite of old port so that they could go the streets later for another cocktail, ice cream or shopping. What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Catari Italiano:
Several things worth sharing—One reason we booked here was for a sunset view. Based off of the location on the map and some pictures on OpenTable, it looked like it should have one. It does not. Several things worth sharing—One reason we booked here was for a sunset view. Based off of the location on the map and some pictures on OpenTable, it looked like it should have one. It does not. No one’s fault but our own on this, however wanted to share. The actual meal was fine, but not particularly special. My husband’s chicken skewers were two skewers of unornamented chicken served on literally just iceberg lettuce (described as a salad—and it did have a salad dressing on it). I had the tagliatelle with prawns and black truffle cream sauce, which had good flavor overall. Finally, it is pricy. €17 for an Aperol spritz? €27 for plain chicken on iceberg lettuce? We ended up feeling the prices were set based on what other restaurants charge rather than on its own merit.

The service was nice and the food was pretty good. The ambiance was nice as well.
Gorgeous food, beautiful surroundings and lovely staff
Several things that are worth sharing—a reason why we booked here was for a sunset. based on the location on the map and some pictures on opentable, it looked like it had one. it doesn't. no one owes, but our own on this, but wanted to share. the actual meal was good, but not especially special. the chicken spears of my man were two spits of unforged chicken served on literally only iceberg salad (written as salat - and it had an salate on it). I had the tagliatelle with garnel and black truffle cream sauce, which had a good taste overall. Finally, it is pricy. €17 for an aperol spray? 27 € for easy bun on eisbergsalat? we feel that the prices were calculated on the basis of other restaurants, instead of on our own cost.
