"This is an excellent hotel right from the word GO! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were super comfortable and food quality was terrifying. The value added like WiFi network was super fast and AC worked smoothly. We also enjoyed the well maintained pool. This hotel was the best part of our entire Mysore experience. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I experienced around the world. Parking was also very safe and the geographical location of this hotel is very aesthetic and can be visited in all important places of the city of Mysore. The only disappointment was the gym. Gym has broken multi station machine that is a joke. Please give a pass to the Gymnasium. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended."

"Don't be fooled by the tiny space and sign: this is objectively and absolutely the best dosa I have eaten in my life. The texture is somehow perfectly crispy and soft at the same time, the masala is carefully made with mashed potatoes and the chutney is a gentle accompaniment. The battering of butter on top brings the whole combination together. Despite the small size, it's actually quite filling, so don't let your excitement get you carried away (as I almost did). A must see for everyone, including those around Mysore. You will not be disappointed."

"We stopped at Sri Chamundeshwari hotel after watching Kripal Amanna Food Lovers TV. The place is difficult to locate and is around 2 km off the main road. We tried the mutton masala curry, chicken biryani, chapati, plain rice, ragi mude and curd. The mutton masala curry was spicy and came with 5 pieces. The chicken biryani was flavourful. The chapati was well prepared. The ragi mude was amazing with the mutton masala. The eatery accepts UPI payment. Cleanliness and hygiene is a challenge and may not be a suggested place for dining with family."

"A chance search on Google maps and a few kms drive off the Bangalore-Mysore highway brought us to this off-beat restaurant. While our eyes were impressed with the rustic theme and quirky Bollywood posters, our hungry stomachs were eagerly waiting to be satiated. Our thaali meals arrived after a patient wait. The place is evidently short staffed - perhaps managed by family members. The thaali came with a chapathi, a cup of saagu, cabbage curry, one cup each of sambar, rasam and curd accompanied by a sweet. A bowl of rice with generous serving was way more than I could handle. Soft, fluffy and evidently without soda added to it, the rice tasted just like the way we make at home. Their maddur vade was to die for. Clearly, it was flying off the kitchen and soon they had run out of the tasty maddur vades. Perhaps it was the rush in the long weekend or it was the time (past 2 pm) many items on the menu were unavailable. Nonetheless, we were happy and content with the homely food they served and it was all worth the money, and more importantly, worth the detour!"

"Ambience is a lil old and worn out.. a viewable kitchen is cool only when the kitchen is presentable.. however all things considered.. the food was brilliant. Portions are very generous and absolutely delicious if your used to indo Chinese.. dim sums were brilliant and thai soups are absolute must try.. must try when in mysore"
