Great experience. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend the maple butter on homemade brown bread! Pancakes and Buffalo sausage were delicious. It was cool to see the sap boilers in action, and the kids loved the maple candy on the snow. All around great time with amazing friends. View all feedback.

What juancarlosf241 doesn't like about Dumfries Maples:
It is very nice to see and get the explanation about how the maple syrup is made. But service for lunch is super slow. Even having a reservation took 1:30 hrs to get served our pancakes. Plates were very well served to huge pancakes the size of the plate. A bit dark for our taste but they tasted fine. Taffy is a bit expensive $4, I’ve beed to other places where they give the taffy for free so I was suprise about this... View all feedback.

Very cozy place with delicious maple syrup.Breakfast is great too: fresh, yummy and 1 portion can be eaten by at least 2 persons :

"Driving home when dinner time rolled by we decided to stop at The Acorn..our first time after driving by for years...well worth the stop..clean .. great service friendly knowledgeable serving staff on a very busy evening.. Went for the sandwiches..a Reuben and a Turkey Club..Caesar...salad as my side.. delicious.. but the best was saved for last a lemon cheesecake that in all actuality was part cheesecake and part lemon meringue..graham cracker crust was perfect.. now rolling home full and content.. we will be back for more of that pie"

"Visited this restaurant for a family meal and was not disappointed. Food is cooked fresh, I had a chow mien with shrimp and it was very good. Husband and Mom had different combo plates which they enjoyed and had leftovers. Food is well presented, fresh, and delicious. Friendly waitress. Don't be turned off by the outside of the building as it is clean and comfortable inside. CASH only which is not a problem as there is adequate signage stating that. I have had Chinese food ( Canadian version) from east to west and this certainly compares favourably. Would recommend"
