"We were kindly recommended this establishment by the manager of the Central Motel. Parking was easy and plentiful. On entering we were pleased that the ambience and decor was warm, striking and inviting with a horse racing theme. Greeted and made welcome by Lexie, we were soon seated at a table of our choice. My husband requested his fave pasta dish which wasn't on the menu. The chef willingly accommodated him. I enjoyed my souvlaki immensely. We had a really pleasant meal in clean, airy surrounds with a family atmosphere. On the way out we met the owner who was also very warm and chatty. Live music in the park opposite in a marquee provided by Zephyrs attracted us so we stopped awhile there for a drink to listen to the music . Congrats and thanks Zephyrz! We will return on our next trip."

"Had lunch there today, service and food were excellent, very busy, sat outside and enjoyed the sun and ambience. We had the prawn laska, chicken parmigiana and a lamb rump, all perfect, and we’re very particular about our food. Definitely will come back, we had met here with our daughter after a 2 hour drive each way. Can’t fault this establishment, well done !!"

"Mitchelton Wines has to be one of my most favourite venues. The grounds are stunning and there are so many beautiful locations for photography, couples and photographers are spoilt for choice. A couple of mine had their ceremony at the cellar and it was so dreamy. I recommend it to everyone that wants a unique and beautiful wedding."

"Service was rude, staff were very rude and condescending, average food, dining area dirty and unclean, toilets filthy. Only 2 out of 6 petrol pumps available on a long weeekend?? really poor. Have stopped here over a long time, but never again."

"Apologies for my tardy review. My partner and I had an a fantastic Sunday lunch here recently. Capsicum stuffed sardines were amazing (then I learned that sultanas were involved in the dish! I despise most fruit, it's a texture thing, but, man, I could be converted! . My partner scoffed down his entre, then came the mains. Oh, my Lord! Rigatoni and eye fillet from heaven. We tried to be as polite as possible without making grunting noises akin to that of pigs and our food loving Labrador. Amazing food! Thank you sooooo much Adele, Bernie, Cait, Mich and anybody else I have missed."

"The Ashton Tower is absolutely stunning! What a feature! We loved exploring the grounds, visiting the Aboriginal Art Gallery, underground tunnels and the river. We visited for lunch and the staff were very helpful with matched wines. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the visit :"
