"I made a reservation by e-mail a day before my visit. It was really good time. I'm not a vegan but my friend who is vegan said it was the most satisfying meal he’ve ever visited during this winter season in Hakuba. Of course, it was a very good meal for me even not vegan. Also they drop us to our place after the dinner."

"Can't recommend Sly Cafe. Australian style, some Aussie hang around while we were there. The staff is really friendly, and they also speak good English. Excellent coffee and espresso drinks, and the food is great. We had smoothies together with larger egg breakfasts. A little expensive, but it is worthwhile for a solid meal with real ingredients, including fruit and vegetables. Vegetarian-friendly."

"Not only is Pete a friendly chap, he runs an excellent bar and restaurant. Excellent service and food. We had the fish chips and garden salad which were both delicious. Thanks Pete! See you next time we are back in Hakuba."

"Dinner in Deneshi is like your best friends French holiday home in Japanese forests. The holiday house is snow-covered in winter and each window has a perfectly framed viewpoint during the meal. Great value for the perfect balances of Omakase meals."

"Idk why this place doesn’t have any reviews? I lived in Hakuba for two months in the summer and this is one of the absolute best restaurants in town. Very traditional Japanese, authentic, and amazing interior. Their tempura is so good and the staff is very understanding of veg requests."

"This location is actually SOL Café I am not sure if the other location for SOL exists earlier, but this is the main SOL Café. It is down in the Escal Plaza based on the Goryu gondola. The printed menu is now fully vegan and all desserts were fully vegan today cannot confirm if this is always the case, but it was today. We had both vegan sandwiches for lunch that were delicious. Both desserts were good, but not amazing. Would definitely return when this mountain is back."

"This is BUSY. You got a table in 10 minutes. Best Okonomiyaki in town, and one of the better ones I had in a while. The owner of the very mythological during the preparation of your meal and does everything from scratch. The interesting thing is that it really plates, but you get a grill at your table. Very recommended.. But be sure to warn that there is probably a wait, the cool thing is that you allow two order and drink your beer/white while waiting for your table."
