"I visited this place with my friends on mid of June 2022. We had spring roles along with tuna. The ambience was good We ensconced ourselves outside in open and later regretted our decision due to chilling weather). Food was good just like other restaurants around). Sitting arrangements were great. The only issue was the slow services as only after multiple attempts of placing the order, our orders were fullfilled. It might be due to crowd but services were really slow. Rest other things were good."

"We came here for the vibe and we were definitely not disappointed! We visited the place in the evening and it was packed! The atmosphere was lively, the decorations and lighting gave modern yet retro old school bar look. We had ordered a grill pesto chicken sandwich and hazelnut cappuccino. Pesto was just right in the sandwich and the coffee was simply amazing must try! They had live music playing which was cherry on top it was a local band and did a mashup of all time music with their own rap; we prolonged our stay just to hear them longer. The service staff was a bit rude and curt they asked us to leave as soon as we finished our food probably to accommodate the waiting crowd however the push was a dent in the overall experience. Still we would totally visit the place just for the music and vibe."

"Very cosy and buzzing atmosphere. I probably ate at most cafes on Mall Road but this is one of the only ones that I visited a second time. "Like its name, Sunshine Café welcomes you on Old Manali 's main drag. The green brick interiors with faux tent like ceiling must be really welcoming on a warm day. On a winter day, it can make a cold day seem colder. When I was there, there were a grand total of three customers, including I. The other two were using the cafés wi fi to work from home. Sunshine 's USP seems to be the trance music they play through the day, the live music scene from 6pm to midnight, the sheesha hukkas and beer. Though, who would like to shell US$ 5 for a Tuborg is beyond me. Expensive beer and wine seems certainly to be an ongoing issue, as a sign near the entrance says DO NOT BRING DRINK(sic) FROM OUTSIDE . Clearly Sunshine has a hidden USP, as it 's menu is run of the mill Old Manali and its prices quite immodest, justifying its extensive seating arrangements at two levels. A lower mattress seating area in a courtyard by the river(but without a view), an outdoor seating space outside the café proper and an L shaped indoor area with both table chair seating and comfortablr cushions on the floor. If anything, I 'd recommend the tables beside wide windows overlooking the street as being exceptional for people watching during the season, when tourists from several nationalities throng Old Manali. As I 'd had breakfast and it was too early for lunch, I ordered a milk coffee. Sadly, the café isn 't much into coffees no cappuccinos, americanos or latte. The coffee was hot in an unmatched cup and plate. After downing it in a few gulps, I lingered on, people watching with a book in hand."
