"The best cheese shop in Nanaimo, by far. There are a variety of foods to buy. Eric, the owner, is a fantastic guy. Unfortunately, the kitchen is no longer open because of Kovid and snacks are not available. I miss the bacon Butties...! The fried beef sandwiches with horseradish should die for this. I'm looking forward to the day I can eat there again. Very recommended."

"It is a character built establishment. remember that it has a small footprint, so if it is full, it is very crowded and loud. there is a small terrace in the back. the waitresses are stalls down, knowledgeable and respectful. eating has a beautiful presentation."
