This restaurant seems to always be steady or busy. It’s not fancy inside, but it is somewhat cozy. They have some good specials during the week. I ordered the Lasagna with Garlic Toast. The meal came hot to the table. The Lasagna had a fair amount of cheese on the top and there was a decent amount of Meat in the Sauce. The flavour was quite good. The Garlic Toast was also good. Upon checking the bill I saw a line item charge after GST and PST. I saw a line item before the GST and PST…..it was called MSP I asked at checkout what this extra charge was. She replied it was Medical Services Premium. I was shocked…..MSP is a employer cost as part of his over head and not a tax item to be added to the invoice This is clearly a ripoff…… I then asked her if the tips are pooled amongst the staff .
