"The Mac played last Sunday. What a treat! The other musicians also rocked! And the food was okay. Web reviews said Chinese food, but there is a new menu, no Chinese unless you consider pot stickers and spring rolls Chinese. That said, Go to the music! Dance like nobody watched!"

"The best cheese shop in Nanaimo, by far. There are a variety of foods to buy. Eric, the owner, is a fantastic guy. Unfortunately, the kitchen is no longer open because of Kovid and snacks are not available. I miss the bacon Butties...! The fried beef sandwiches with horseradish should die for this. I'm looking forward to the day I can eat there again. Very recommended."

"I love their tuna melts. Their staff can be abrasive and rude at times, though. On one occasion extremely rude, calling my dad crazy for suggesting their bread from a local bakery was sliced to a different thickness (it was). Extremely rude. Also brushing us off for other complaints, like raw eggs in a breakfast meal. Scrambled eggs that were hardly cooked. Awful, and it took some arm twisting to get it fixed.Love the tuna melts. But it's almost not worth going back with how rude the staff have been on several occasions to who used to be regulars."
