Tired from driving, I stopped with my Mum for a coffee. We were warmly greeted and welcomed. Even though the owner said they don't usually make coffee, he made us a coffee to help us continue our journey home. Thank you for such great hospitality toward two strangers, who will visit again. What User doesn't like about Nannup Brewing Company:
Ordered drinks, which then sat on the bar for 15 minutes while I had to que in another line out the door to pay. Terrible system!!! And the cider I ordered tasted so weak and watered down... Wanted to eat but gave up as didn't want to go through the same process...and I hindsight, glad I didn't as our friends stayed on and did eat, and that was another debacle Will never go back. "We were staying in Nannup and came to the Blackwood Cafe for dinner and I had to call it and say it was the best meal I'd had all year!! I ordered the lamb shanks with sweet potato mash and red wine reduction. It was...superb and I didn't want it to end. What a gem of a find. I have been meaning to write this review as it was a couple of months ago we were there . I did manage to congratulate the lovely chef on my way out she told they cook all day, she looked proud of those lamb shanks as well she should be. Get in the car now and drive to Nannup and order them. It will be worth the journey!"
