The café-restaurant inside the Musée des Beaux Arts was not tempting so we went in search of somewhere else nearby before returning to see more of the Musée. By happy chance we fell on Bistrot l’Alchimiste and had a delicious lunch. We were welcomed, even a little after 14:00 when many restaurants in Nantes stop serving lunch, and were made to feel comfortable in every way. Good wine at a reasonable price too. read more.
