"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"

"The waiter didn’t seem very interested in serving us. He rarely came to the table and didn’t bring out bread when we asked him twice. "This is probably stupid but I would really like them to carry everything bagels, and the cheese on my sandwiches wasn't able to be tasted it really had no flavor at all(could only taste the meat which admittedly I love) But well it's hard to explain I feel like this place is superior to Subway in every way but I can taste everything they put in it ...idk I remember this place being much better in the past but it has been awhile since I stopped by. Was a little let down but I'll still stop by to try it again"
