Only reason I’m not rating 1 star is because the waitress that ended up serving me was top notch. The bartender outside is bad for business. I was ignored by him for 10-15 min while he was blabbering on to his buddies….Everything was F this and F that, all the other patrons seated outside were looking around like is this guy serious….extremely unprofessional. The food at this restaurant was delicious. The waitstaff were also very helpful. This is a great spot for lunch, with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person. I recommend trying the ribs, gator tail, mashed potatoes, and BBQ dishes.
The new owners have done a great job giving this place a much-needed update. The food was amazing and I will definitely be returning to take some photos. The service was excellent and the meal type was dinner. The price per person was $10–$20.

Marcy at the bar was amazing. She knew exactly how to make our 25 mo th celebration unforgettable with those double doubles on the double!!! But seriously, the catfish bites app was really good with unforgettable cornmeal inspired breading, and the fried chicken with crispy skin!!! Totally worth the trip and stopping in to check out this old Florida institution. Parking: Plenty of parking in the front and back. Service: Dine in
