Take them out today, huh chimichurri: paper thin dry chicken without taste, small amount of crimped sauce, rice and black bran cut best for $16. very disappointed by food quality and taste. would not recommend.

Went to this place on the recommendation of my neighbor. Although there is little to no ambiance (at the Piper location). It 's a small noisy room, but there were lots of happy customers. I ordered the corvina (mild white fish) tacos, which came with rice and beans. I don 't like fish, so this was going out on a limb. There were 3 tacos in puffy yummy homemade soft taco shells, and they were absolutely delicious. The rice was just rice, and the beans were good, but too salty for my taste. My margarita was okay, but very sweet and tasted like a mix. We sat outside, which was fine except for Ben , a rather large rat that went right up to the only other patron on the patio begging for a taste and looking like he wasn 't taking no for an answer. Needless to say, the man put his newspaper down and left shortly after this charming little visit. Thankfully, the man had finished his meal and newspaper by then. My boyfriend didn 't relate this little incident until I saw Ben at the tail end of our dinner, and Ben decided to pay us a little visit. I thanked him for keeping this tidbit of info to himself and allowing me to eat and enjoy my tacos oblivious to Ben 's less than shy advances. Sounds like a lot of negatives, but the tacos were simply great! In fact, I 'm going to get some more tonight, but I 'll be getting them to go.

What an unexpected treat this place was. Met a friend there having never heard of Fernandez. We tried a marinated/fried pork dish that was just amazing. My friend had a chicken dish that was equally as yummy. I wish they had a full bar, but I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Food, service, and atmosphere were great. The churrasco was perfectly cooked and the chimichurri sauce was perfect. The cocktails were wonderful as well. They even allowed our puppy to eat with us on the patio. Being from Miami, quality Cuban food can be tough to find. This was really good

Place is really comfortable, ladies are marvelous very courteous and always smiling, food is great and big portions no expensive and real cuisine
