"We waited over an hour in the queue and another hour for the pizzas to arrive. It’s cheap for one Michelin star pizza at 5.5 euros for any of the 4 types of pizza. Drinks including beer are all 2.5 euros. Pizza is acceptable but not so fab to wait 2 hours. Environment is very simple. There is a 1 euro cover charge per pax but our server asked all the customers he served for extra tips and btw Cash payment only. Maybe once for the experience but there are better pizzas in Naples."

"We visited this restaurant mid week in May 2022, and unfortunately our experience was rather mixed. The food was good, with a few issues Spaghetti alle Vongele was well flavoured, for example, but the clams themselves were not all great in quality. The main issues we experienced were in the service the second course took half an hour to arrive after the plates were cleared from the first, and one dish never arrived at all (although it still appeared on the bill, until we asked to take it off). Finally, the waiter pushed hard for a tip and then misheard the suggestion of adding €2 to the card payment as €10 an honest mistake? Well, if it happens to you, then you 'll know that it has happened before..."

"I'm actually very jealous of you if you're about to visit La Lazzara. I came back three times to try something new and every visit resulted in gastronomic feast. Seafood, pizza, steak, tiramisu for dessert everything I've tried tasted amazing, exceeding all expectations. The place is very busy during working hours so make sure to reserve. Don't expect much from service, as waiters are hardly coping with the number of visitors, but sure count on great food tasting experience."
