Met a friend for lunch here. The service was great. Food came out quick. There's a bar up front but plenty of family-friendly seating in the back half. Quite a bit to choose from on the menu. Friend got a fried chicken salad that was pretty big. I got one of the specialty burgers that was great! Lots of flavor. Would definitely recommend it. View all feedback.
What Scott J doesn't like about Hunters Hideaway Inc:
Nice mid-range restaurant. Owners were optimizing revenue over customer comfort in their middle dining room. They used bench-style seating but spacing between tables caused feuding between tables for seating space. It was very uncomfortable. Seating in the middle dining room should be avoided at all costs. Great food, atmosphere, and staff! Was instantly greeted upon walking in. The staff were very nice and efficient. The food was all very delicious. Very nice and unique atmosphere as well.
Pizza was better than we expected it to be. An order of nachos and 2 pizzas fed 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly. Also 9 adult drinks and 3 regular drinks. If not for the alcohol, we would have probably had to get one more pizza. Great server. A little louder then I normally like a restaurant, but when a restaurants good they have lots of customers so that’s likely unavoidable. All in all we really enjoyed it.
Delicious! Large outdoor seating area that is covered. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. She suggested items as we had never been here before. The spinach artichoke dip was great. Cheesy and chunky! The burgers were perfectly cooked and juicy. I like saucy burger and it was saucy. I didn't even add any mayo or ketchup. Perfect the way it came. I would for sure stop here any time I'm in the area. Wish I lived closer.
Staff is always friendly and attentive. There is a nice atmosphere. The main floor has two rooms one were there is a bar and where you can eat drink and watch TVs there is also another large room for family dining if you have kids. There is also an upstairs where there used to be pool tables but I'm not sure if they're still there or not. There is also a nice patio in the back
This is a great place that gives you a big city feel in a small town. The PB Smash burger was great. The tutor tots were crispy and the sweet tea was spot-on. The pulled pork sandwich was moist and flavorful. The Cole slaw had just the right flavor. The one negative is the Mac and cheese was literally boxed Kraft Mac-Cheese. This should really be a homemade dish. Everything else was excellent, but this really brought our opinion down. Get a better Mac and cheese and possibly an appetizer sampler. We spent $32 not including tip for two meals with non alcoholic drinks.
