"Stopped for lunch with a large expectation of great things to come and wow did this place deliver! We enjoyed our meal there last year and returned to find even better food and service if that’s possible. The fish and chips are so fresh and service is amazing. Can’t wait to return."

"This place is amazing! the menu itself is not too exciting, salad, jackenkartoffeln etc. the star of the show are the amazing specials, of which there were about 8 of which some were vegan. my partner and I had both green juices and the vegan polnta with olive, tomato and courgette that came with salads. it was all amazing, couldn't blame anything. we shared a piece of vegan cheesecake for the desert and were so impressed that then a few more cakes to go. who were amazing again! all foods are locally delivered/organic and the staff was very attentive and the woman who was especially happy to serve us and was happy. worth a visit!"

"Friendly entertaining service. Owner has a good taste in music wouldn’t let me ‘pollute’ my loose leaf tea with milk—fair enough. Excellent breakfast ‘sandwiches’ for lunch while I did some work. In fact, the descriptor of sandwich doesn’t do it justice. Found it by chance because usual Pembroke café haunt was closed. Next time I’m in the area I’m looking forward to visiting here again. Highly recommended."

"Had my first meal out since lockdown restrictions relaxed and it was excellent. Sat outside and highly recommend the Pork Melt,. Prompt service, delicious food, good select of beers. Well worth a visit."
