We enjoyed a good meal here on a quiet Tuesday night. The dining area is inviting and warm and the waitress was attentive and friendly. We chose the duck in a mandarin sauce and ocean trout, finished with plum pudding and brandy sauce (minus any cream or ice cream, which would have completed the dish). Stopped in at the Black spur inn for some afternoon tea. Very disappointed by the reception we received by the ladies behind the counter. They were serving lunch to a group of 50...but clearly hadn't planned on walk ins and how best to cater to us (and others) . We were told to go to the bar... And after looking at the bar...
