What Marjory Runolfsson doesn't like about Bobbie's Dairy Dip:
prepare to be disappointed. eating and freezing are great, but the service and the setting of staff and management is terrible. I live in the sylvan park and loved walking there. but since nostalgia can no longer overcome the terrible experience. a lot on your own. View all feedback. What Giovani McGlynn likes about Bobbie's Dairy Dip:
Don't come expecting fine dining This is an old fashion southern ice cream place( I just can't come up with a better description except drive in). If you grew up in the south there was a place like this somewhere in town. There's just seething about walking up to a window an ordering a banana boat then sitting under the awning that bring back memories. And it doesn't hurt that the ice cream is good and cold and blues... View all feedback.

It USED to be a great place to eat! Under new and STINGY management! I just paid $10.00 for two shakes that came out in Dixie cups! I will NOT be back!

read moreBobbie’s Dairy Dip in Nashville has been a beloved institution since 1951, exuding 50's charm with dancing ice cream cones and delicious milkshakes. The menu now includes veggie burger options, with the black bean burger being a standout. The restaurant has two locations, each offering a unique experience. While reviews vary on the service quality, most agree that the food, particularly the milkshakes and burgers, is worth the visit. The outdoor seating and retro atmosphere add to the charm of this Nashville classic.
