my best friend and I were on a maid trip to nashville and a reservation at the optimist that turned out to be an excellent choice. eating and service were amazing. richard was our server. he did a great work to help with the menu and was very attentive to our table! my friend and I have quite different tastes with seafood. she loves ceviche and rust. What User doesn't like about The Optimist:
L'Optimiste is a nice and fancy restaurant. Overall the food is good, not exceptional. We had appetizers and oysters and there were perfects. The fishes were well cooked but the portions are very small, and there is no side included. However, we were very disappointed by the desserts, which are too sweets and not really tasty. Shrimp, swordfish, redfish chocolate pudding cake excellent!
we enjoyed our meal and server was great try to have grouper as an alternative sometime
