Chef Liz Johnson recommended this place when we dined at her place the catbird seat so when Liz recommends something you have to try it out! The place is small with three large tables. We placed our order which consisted of the hot chicken sandwich and the fried okra. The hot chicken was great and even though we choose the light mild (lowest spiciness) it was still plenty of hot. Expected a warm welcome rather than a will be with you in a minute. Chicken was great! Fries just so so (McDonalds much better), Mac n cheese a real disappointment (dry lukewarm and needed spices). 3 votes to go to Guy"s will try another location. This place is closed. Don’t bother trying to find it esp with downtown Nashville traffic. Wasted my time because this listing is out of date. Yelp here I come!
