My wife and I had dinner at Matsuoka tonight. We enjoyed a set menu with a fantastic variety of Japanese dishes, both hot and cold. Some highlights included the hearty mixed vegetable soup, soy cream croquette that tasted like a delicious pot pie, spicy garbanzo filled red pepper, and broccoli salad with hemp dressing. Some highlights included the hearty mixed vegetable soup, soy cream croquette that tasted like a delicious pot pie, spicy garbanzo filled red pepper, and broccoli salad with hemp dressing. We also tried the vegan ice cream sandwiches for dessert, which were excellent! The aromas, textures, and colors of all the dishes were wonderful. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.
