"The service and food were phenomenal. They accommodated our family of vegetarians to meat eaters and adults to kids. They have incredible specials created by the chef. Fresh drinks from margaritas to lemonade and craft beer from all around Mexico. They serve traditional Mexican food to gourmet Mexican and Italian creations. "On a day trip, we ended up going here times twice for breakfast and once for dinner. I found that the menu was diverse offering some traditional Mexican dishes with some fusion dishes. All dishes we tried were very good tasting and...the service was great. I highly recommend you give them a try!"

"My first meal on this visit to Nayarit, great start. I'm a home brewer so I do look for craft beer wherever I go, and chose La Negra partly because of that focus. My waiter, Robert, was great helping me decide on my beverage - an ITA - Imperial Tequila Ale! It came as a bomber - 22oz or so. I started into that, Robert took a break and the owner, Hector, came over to help me with my dinner selection, recommending the tuna burger. How can you turn down an owner's recommendation? And it was awesome! I'm thinking rare, so cooked rare but not quite seared and probably the best piece of tuna I've ever had. The bun held up for a bit but eventually sorta fell apart, no problem, it was just a nice piece of tuna! The accompanying fries were awesome as well. Hector and Robert were great. Hector let me know that he's getting married in a couple of weeks, witness the pacing on his cell phone that evening. Congrats Hector! And thanks to you both for putting up with my rambling that I will attribute to the very strong ITA after a day in the sun! I will make it back before I leave next week! And before they close for a bit after 5/24. I mean the dude's getting married!"

"The meal did not meet the expectations I had from reading the reviews. I had the pork and although the sauce was good, I found the pork itself to be dry. They do give large portions. Price wise,I think there are other restaurants that offer better quality for same or less money."
