Akrogiáli - Nea Makri

The service was very kind and the quality of food was impeccable. I picked the fish I ate out of a wide variety of fishes which were all fresh! Tasty food together with a great location just “on the wave” made our trip from Athens to Nea Makri really worth it!

Lovely food, lovely setting. Difficult access to the water for swimming because of exceptionally jagged rocks.

I wish I could say I had a good experience like some of the reviews. Mine was very similar to the not so good reviews listed above. I guess it was a Sunday and the staff was tired from a long day? We ended up ordering a bunch of salads and apps that were mediocre at best. Glad I didn’t order a 50+€ plate of fish. The calamari was like chewing on rubber. Ordered tzatziki and it came w no pita. I asked for a bread basket and never came but they charged .90 per person. No one came to check on us and see if everything was ok. So yeah walking away disappointed from this one.

Food was okay but I was charged for a grilled sea bass 27€ and it wasn’t even 300gr. Way overpriced! On the positive side location is great, right by the sea.

The view of the sea is amazing, the food well cooked and variety of mezedes. The 3 stars because of the delay in order. The indoor personnel could be a bit smiley!!! Also a small error in the bill. In general, it was a good experience.
