"Every bit as good as I remember. This location had just opened up the last time I was here. A lot of places in the same area have gone downhill, use inferior products and produce, and are generally nowhere near what they were. Not so with the border Grill. Absolutely every bit as good as I remember it. Truly, one of the best tasting restaurants in the upper peninsula."

"Nice little shop in downtown. Staff are very nice. The first floor has candy and the vegan items are characterized that really surprises me! The dark chocolate dipped Oreos were delicious, but the Cranberry Pecan Rinde was fantastic. There were some other options I didn't try. We didn't eat, but the menu had a vegetarian section that had sandwiches that were either vegan or could be made slightly vegan. Some had homemade hummus. There was also at least one solid looking vegan duck salad. Downtown Marquette has no ton to supply vegans, so I was really happy to see this place."

"We ate there twice. Interaction with hostess was pleasant. All the staff we encountered were nice and professional and service was prompt. My husband had a chicken burrito both times and customized it to his liking. I had steak fajitas the first time, which wasn’t as tender as some Mexican restaurants I ate at, but it was still good. The second time I had shrimp tacos and it was really good. Chips and salsa were very delicious and guacamole was good. Ambiance is nice. One thing that was a problem is fly lying around, trying to land on the food. I understand that they keep the door to the patio open, but it has to be something they can do about the fly problem indoors."
