"We were a table of ten and all meals were beautiful. The salmon was perfect, salt and pepper squid was excellent, lamb backstrap perfect. No complaints at all."

"Poyer's was on our radar the moment we arrived in Port Stephens. We were told that this was a place people love for "special dinners". Now that we've been (for lunch), I can say categorically, I am SUCH a fan. Don't wait for dinner! I get the sense that this restaurant could please anyone - it's got such an amazing blend of options. You can go "high end" for two (and enjoy the Veuve) or enjoy the simple pleasure of catching up with a group of friends. Either way, the Tapas choices are perfect. I recommend ordering a "his" and "hers" calamari to save fighting :)The staff are funny, attentive and informative.It's fair to say Poyer's is an experience. Lemon Tree Passage is lucky to have a venue of this calibre."

"Love, love the boat shed cafe. brilliant small family-friendly cafe with idyllic water views, where playful dolphins visit when they are happy. the ability to sit and chat in this beautiful location is simply invaluable! eating is fantastic homemade simply fresh and tasty and very cheap. it doesn’t matter to wait a little longer in this beautiful location or to change the menu selection if after all, what it’s peak-visit season and sometimes the dinge are not available in the super market! Personally, if I wanted a “professional service”, I would go to an upscale restaurant. I prefer the excellent custom service that is so natural, so friendly and truly welcoming. additional bonus is see the beautiful bubba baby as do 9.9% of the males! keep them the great workers we have again!"
