"Last night, I took my mum (a fussy and judgemental eater), my sister (a hard-to-please-foodie), my sister-in-law (a very cautious food taster), my 10-year old daughter who was born gourmet and my nephew who has egg and diary allergies, to dine at The Little Boathouse. I was nervous because, lets be honest, the above mentioned party of diners is nearly impossible to please! However, the food was top notch made with really nice produce and generosity. The staff, especially our waitress Kathy, were fantastic, friendly and professional. My little nephew was taken care of, he had a nice meal, and they made sure of it! Even my mum, gave them a full mark! Which is Never-happen-occurrence!! Thank you for a memorable dinner "

"Rented a boat from here. About our third time. Always good service and never any issues. They can sell you bait if you need. Just be aware that the boat rental is cash only! There is an ATM nearby apparently. We haven't eaten at he cafe so cannot comment on the Cafe side of it."

"It is uncommon to begin a review focused on teamwork and hospitality. I had a good lead up experience booking The Poyer 's and within minutes of our arrival the teamwork and hospitality was standing out. A warm co-owner, experienced staff and a couple of experienced staff supported by younger ones making up the team on the floor. You could tell quickly they really connected with the kitchen. The whole feeling was of a sure-footed, talented and committed team. Great explanations of the menu, spot on advice and perfect timing of the arrival of each of our dishes. The food was uniformly exceptional, a lot inspired by locally sourced ingredients. Superbly flavoured and beautifully presented. And the setting of The Poyer 's is just delightful, beautiful views looking out to the bay. Locals going about their recreational business and daily life, boating, picnicking and fishing. I am glad restaurants like The Poyer 's are not in the big city. They would run the risk of being overwhelmed by popularity, with the potential of being under-appreciated. Memorable!"

"Order : 1- rice vegetarian corma combo 2- veggie paratha 3-disk-kulcha under boiled rice was corma good in taste. there were hardly veggies seen in the paratha and this with the windshield. kulcha was nothing but a naan with a windshield wiper who was crushed in it. this restaurant needs a lot of improvement. they understand that we have ordered 10 minutes before closing time, as we were not aware. without asking, we were handed over directly via a take. but it was good gestures of the dame that allowed us to sit and eat out, even after the rest was closed and they remained. about all no great experience."
