"I always get the daily Bahn Mi here and it’s guaranteed delicious every time. Staff are super friendly and seem happy to be working here. Love the team aspect and that people are being treated well both as staff and customers. Definitely need to stop here if you’re visiting Nelson!"

"The good: Ambiance was great, live music was nice, the building and history is beautiful. They have a nice drink selection and the raspberry mojito was very refreshing. The creme brulee was incredible! Come here for a drink and a dessert. The not so great: The food was sub-par. We tried two different burgers, one beef and one chicken, and the poutine. They were lacking flavour. Idk man could have used some salt and pepper at least."

"Each year when I holiday in Nelson there's the visit to Thor's.Now as I've posted in many previous posts for various eateries I'm somewhat of a Pizza Guru - - having eaten pizza since 1962 during various trips for business,tours with the car club , holidays etc.This year the wife accompanied me and discovered Thor's fabulous pizza - - - commenting on the flvour, freshness and great crustMike is a great host and has a quick fun witty personality making the Thor's experience one of a kind,So - - - go to Thor's - - - - (there is more than just pizza) - - - and discover for yourself.Thank you again Mike - - - we'll be back at least once before heading back to Saskatoon and of course back again next summer.NOTE: I give honest uninflated reviews and don't give 5 stars easilly and yes it is always my opinion and in this case, this year,the wife has had the same experience."

"When in Nelson and you have that craving for a great cup of coffee then Oso is the place. The bean varieties are chosen by the Oso team and roasted in Nelson. The aroma in the air is a tantalizing for taste. The staff are friendly and helpful. "Very please with our experience last night. The atmosphere was so comfortable, and even the live music was lovely and not too loud, so everyone could chat and enjoy themselves. The young lady who served us was polite, helpful, and attentive but gave us lots of space. The food was delicious. Nice sized portions on everything. We enjoyed the calamari and Langos to start. Both were fantastic, and the fried bread was super good. I had a wild mushroom crepe with the salad, the sauce on the crepe was very rich, and I was very happy with the variety of mushrooms inside. My husband ordered Paprikas, which he enjoyed. Their kids' menu is great, and they were happy to grill a bun with just cheese for my picky eater. My oldest got an Orbit veggie burger, which was amazing looking and tasty, according to her. We were a party of 7, and my in-laws were from out of town, this was such a great experience for them, I'm definitely going back soon!"
