What Bruno Calero likes about New China Restaurant:
They make the most delicious Won Ton soup with super fresh pork, delicious! The chicken egg foo Yong is always a hit, there's not much for goodies in their chow mein so we quit getting it because it's bland, but their veggie chop suey is done well & very tasty :) Had their lemon chicken before & it was very good too. Their take out is always hot & stays hot for the hour drive home. View all feedback. What Raymond Brakus doesn't like about New China Restaurant:
I wouldn't feed this slop to my pigs! honestly the poorest quality fattiest ginger beef(I think it was beef) MORE LIKE HORSE MEET GINGER BEEF, the chow mein was ichiban noodles with a couple soggy vegetables, JUST SIMPLY GROSS FOOD!! I sent it all back and left without eating, but stomach was feeling yukky from the experience. SAVE YOURSELF THE GROSSNESS AND GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE TO EAT!! View all feedback.

Great Chinese food. Like the atmosphere Also great for quick buffet on the run. I like the hot and sour soup.
We were hungry and looking forward to some Chinese buffet. We were the only guests and the buffet was very limited in choice and quantity. Would not go back.

read moreThe reviews for New China restaurant in Nelson are quite mixed. While some customers were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, others found certain dishes to be delicious. Complaints included tasteless and cold food, fatty meats, and limited selection on the buffet. However, positive comments were made about the Wonton soup, chicken egg foo Yong, and fresh pork. Take out orders were praised for being hot and remaining so even after a long drive. It seems New China restaurant may have some hits and misses when it comes to their menu, but overall the experience may vary depending on individual preferences.
