"Really wonderful coffee and ambience the place itself is very serene and inviting. They had really nice options for desserts, I had the vegan raspberry bar and it was delicious! I really appreciate the variety for people with different allergies. My only issue was the customer service, I was here several times during my stay and the staff were really unfriendly. I kept coming back because the drinks were great but it would have been a bit better of an experience with happy people to talk to! I do recommend the place though, and can understand if it was maybe just a few off days I experienced."

"I came here with my family over July long weekend. There were 6 adults and our baby daughter. When we made the reservation we told them there would be a stroller. I was worried there wouldn't be room but they gave us a great table by a window, with a lot of room for the stroller. Our server was friendly and service was good even though it was busy. The food took a long time but as I said, it was busy. It was worth the wait. Soooo delicious. I highly recommend the truffle fries and fish tacos! Not many wines by the glass but what I had was good. There was no change table in the bathroom I used (just an FYI). We have eaten at The Hume hotel twice now. Once in this restaurant and once was delivery. The delivery ended up getting our order wrong and they had to go back and return,but the food was good. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! There is also a lounge that looks cool in this hotel."

"We had our 38th anniversary here last nite. Steak salad veggies and berry crumble for me, creme Brule for my wife everything was great including the decor. A wonderfully place to go for a great meal!"

"I always get the daily Bahn Mi here and it’s guaranteed delicious every time. Staff are super friendly and seem happy to be working here. Love the team aspect and that people are being treated well both as staff and customers. Definitely need to stop here if you’re visiting Nelson!"
