west coast grill is a very nice restaurant. I am not a native and visit Nelson twice a year, each time I try a new restaurant. that's the best I've tried so far. the service was great, unlike some of the reviewers said. the food was medium-sized portions, but I found it filling. average to slightly above average prices, but I would come back here again. love it! Nice place, not lively when I was there. Ordered the steak, asked for rare but got it medium. Too chewy for a $33.00 steak. Added 5 scallops on the side and those were tasty. Update, had to increase the rating because of the mussels. You have to try them, very tasty. View all feedback.
