Contribute Feedback What Columbus Turner likes about Red Lobster:
I consider myself a bit of a discriminating foodie and kinda looked down my nose at RL. So, we decided to go since my Mom-in-law wanted to go for an early Mother's Day Dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, service prompt and friendly. The shocker for me was how wonderful my entree was. Had the Ultimate. All the seafood was cooked to perfection. Have changed my mind about RL. View all feedback.
What Silas Ernser doesn't like about Red Lobster:
I decided to treat my partner to some seafood. We live an hour away from Ottawa so i thought that Red Lobster was a good safe choice. I had been there several times in the past but several years ago. I ordered the appetizer of muscles and she ordered the seafood stuffed mushroom caps . Both were quite tasty and piping hot. The main course of lobster and shrimp was a different story, the lobster was overcooked and bas... View all feedback.
We got together with some friends last night for a wonderful meal. We had tons of Shrimp and tons of Crab. The Snow Crab was a bit small, but very tasty, juicy and sweet. The server was very pleasant.
My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. The server, Ryana, was so pleasant and very helpful. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. yum. I had the Ultimate Feast, which was very filling and very tasty. My husband had the steak and lobster tail. They (Red Lobster) decided his lobster tail was too well done and gave him a second one, done to perfection (we took that one home as we were full at this point). His steak was done exactly as he likes it, well done but not dry.Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.
Went for supper on Friday night. Waited 1/2 hour to be seated. Normal with no reservation. Food was great as usual.
We went there for a Sunday dinner. My husband ordered shrimp, and my self and step daughter ordered Maritime lobster (the menu says it is steamed) First the good: there was none. Salads: mine came with a huge core in it, very disappointing. When this was pointed out to the waitress she just said 'it comes precooked...sometimes thats what you get' Really? too bad they dont mention the 'thats what you get' on the menu...When i ordered the lobsters i did request they be 'pre cracked'. When they were brought to the table they werent..i mentioned it to the waitress, and she agreed. Nice to know she agreed, but im getting a bit sick of the 'thats what you get attitude' another lady brought them back. When they were brought to the table they were raw. when i cracked the tail. the organs which were totally liquified..along with the meat, literally poured over the meat. I told them take it back...its raw. I was then told 'no not raw...just cooked differently. Some people are taken aback when they see that'. Just alot of BS...they were raw..The seafood place could not cook Lobster. My step daughter sent hers back. WE spoke with the manager...who was nice enough, but really just wanted us to order something to make up for the two raw lobsters that were returned. I did not, my step daughter to a rock lobster tail which was completely over cooked and pure rubber. Lovely...this awful dinner cost us $100.00 You could not pay me to go back.
This is one of the only seafood chains that is always consistent and the food is always fantastic. Staff and service is great too! I will always come back to this restaurant because it constantly satisfies me. Well done!
