"Hotel: Whoever likes it quiet is right here, view of the mountains. The rooms are modern furnished, very good mattresses, freshly renovated bathroom. Excellent, rich breakfast buffet.Restaurant: Is between good and very good to class, you understand your craft. Also on weekdays a reservation cannot hurt, the restaurant is also very popular with locals for family celebrations. Rustic Thüringer Hausmannskost with a few exotic accents, e.g. an extra Matjeskarte.The overall package is definitely worth 5 stars. If we're back in the area, we'll be happy to come back here."

"I went to the steinhof during a business trip. I am more than satisfied with the offer quality/price. the rooms are clean and practical, and the location is very quiet. also the owner of the hotel is very friendly. I also had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant in the evening when I was there. I can only recommend it. I have the piglets and it was really juicy and savory. the röstis were also homemade (or so I think). the breakfast was not out, but it was more than enough (special recommended for the eggs that were really good) I recommend definitiw to stay in steinhof! thank you."
