"Wir wollten im Lambrechterhof - bestes Haus am Platz - Mittagessen. dies war nicht möglich -mittags ist das Restaurant geschlossen! Also suchten wir ein anderes Restaurant. es hätte uns nichts Besseres passieren können, den wir landeten im Pizzeria Restaurant Marktcafe. Alles war wunderbar - Essen, Service, Ambiente und auch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Nach unserem Besuch im Kloster St. Lambrecht (ein Reinfaller - alles war geschlossen außer der Kirche) - kamen wir zurück zum Café und hatten noch Cappuccino und Strudel - wieder ausgezeichnet."

"This place has a typical Austrian ambience with many wooden furniture. I thought the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was friendly and very ok to treat so many people. We were a group of 15 people. The typical Austrian food was beautiful. I had the beef in onion sauce. I thought the sauce was something to sakltry. My friend had the fish and that was great. The burgers were not the best. But then this is not a typical restaurant for this kind of food. They probably try to care for English-speaking tourists. And the pizza was good. Interesting drinks such as redcurrant, raspberry soda and elders. Very delicious!"

"Stopped here on our way back from Hallstatt, afraid to be too late to eat anywhere. A harthy wellcome by a traditionally dressed lady, as well as the nice terrace/garden gave way to a very lovely evening with tasty food and very friendly personnel. Would go there again."
