The restaurant is consistently clean, staff here is very kind, and there is a good energy flowing through the atmosphere whenever I visit! "I am from out of the country (The Czech Republic) and the bartender, a small brunette stated she could not provide me service as I appeared too heavily intoxicated when that was not the case- I simply could not recall the pronunciation of the bier my partner wanted and stated I was too intoxicated to order anything when in fact simply have an accent and trouble converting and speaking single English word does not equate to this low and dismissive position this bartender made me feel alien in my new country of living. She caused hurt to a new resident and I feel I could never recommend this place to anyone of they treat people like this.put me in. I have been a happy U.S citizen but tonight she reminded me of how stigmatizing this country can be. Sure, call it for safety but when you haven't seen me at your bar once, I find it hard to believe that my accent and trouble with wording are not the result of a greater stigmion"

"Beautiful hidden gem. there is a parking lot where they park, then they go down the street to the left to reach in front of the door and in the open seating. it is a very cute outdoor cahangout. there is also a beer- and weinbar outside, so it was nice and comfortable. we were sitting inside for dinner. I have the salmon sandwich that was completely boiled and was surprised, it was nice and damp -delicious! they were busy but we had good food and service so I enjoyed it first time experience. will be going back."

"Store was 45 mins late from our scheduled delivery. Dasher was waiting at store for order to be completed. Also store was out of yakosoba and no one contacted me and just had to figure it out when order arrived. Very disappointed!"

"This review will be a bit different from my normal ones as I visited the restaurant. I know, I didn?t pay for delivery for once! Truth be told I needed to rent a couple tools like a post hole digger and an angle grinder and Home Depot is right there. Make a few twists in the parking lot and you end up at Taco Palenque. Good news here is that if you are getting your tires done/fixed Discount Tire is literally 200 feet away or so. Just walk and you are there! Breakfast Tacos can be your delight or any other combo that they offer. Moving along to the actual review? So, I took a few interior photos for a ?lay of the land? so to speak, but the salsa bar was the part I thought was the most important. I found that there were some good options to choose from here and everything was clean. Oddly enough I liked combining the two red salsas they offered at about a 60/40 ratio in the little black cup, mixed it, and found it to be just the right amount of heat for the chips, but also acceptable for the breakfast tacos. I like heat though, so I suggest trying what suits you best for the task at hand. Speaking of the task at hand, we must move on to the entrée, which consisted of two breakfast tacos. I chose to get Bacon and Egg and Ham and Egg as my selections this time around as they are often my core choices for breakfast tacos. I took a photo of how the tacos came to me at the table, which is the one wrapped in foil. I then opened each independently to take a couple photos so you could see what you are getting in each taco ingredients and texture wise. I mentioned that this would be a shorter review, so in my usual tradition we enter the ?Final Thoughts? phase of this review. I was glad that I stopped by, but, I am biased toward a couple small businesses here in New Braunfels. What I greatly appreciated is that they made the food to order. I can think of many places who just keep a large container of stuff and scoop it in from storage in a hot box. There is always the possibility that I am wrong but being that they used real eggs and not the ones from the carton, I?m going with ?The eggs do what they are supposed to do.? I was not quite sure what to think on the tortilla, but it was indeed at least heated through, and it too served its purpose. If you are getting new tires or visiting Home Depot for some things that you need, this place is right there and worth your time. They also have a Drive Thru if that is important to you on your way to the river or the lake."

"It seems that managers and owners of this store do not worry about the safety of their employees. You need them to park over the street and walk over 5 streets of busy traffic to work. Every time I drive Walnut, there are Chick Fil-A staff who cross the way to work. Better!"
