We’ve came here every year we come to compete against Rutgers. One of the most hospitable spots amongst big ten conference cities. Always a highlight of the trip. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tavern On George:
in this opposite there is little to no atmosphere. there was no single piece wall decoration, no music game, etc. the menu seemed good, but the appetizer were the best we had. the main courts and the “famous” house, which did donuts, were at best below average. the area has the potential to be a “cracked place” and the beer/flügel range was sufficient. the personal was friendly, but not overly informed about their me... Stopped for lunch in between tests at RWJ. They were technically not open but graciously sat us anyway. Server was great, food was great. French fries...awesome...

it was not overcrowded because of the coronvirus at all. still was very nice. I had black-slides that were very good.
I love go there every Thursday after class. Good food and good music, even the weather.
Excellent establishment! Stopped in while in town for work and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. Mid-week not overly busy, up and coming live jazz band...
