"My brother and I were returning from a road trip and he called a friend in New Carlisle and invited him and his mother out for icecream. We made my first visit ever there. Due to bidenomics the prices were higher than I am comfortable with but on par with the new norm. There was a long line when we arrived, and a steady trickle of customers while there, and several families pulled into the parking lot as we were leaving. Our friends both had sundaes.I had the Super bowl sundae. My brother had the foot long Banana Split. It looked really good and was my first choice I just couldn't justify $7.95 for a banana split. It looked like any other run of the mill banana split but longer. My brother really enjoyed it. I enjoyed my Super Bowl Sunday. It was just shy of 5 bucks, which sadly is reasonably in today's economy. It was a bit taller than our friends sundaes. It was very well made. Very much the way I make my Banana Splits in that the banana was sliced instead of split down the middle. It had a little peanut butter, pecans, chocolate syrup, whipcream and a cherry. I really liked the addition of the peanut butter. I was the odd person in the group because I chose it because it had peanut butter. The others in the group avoided it for the same reason. I didn't take pictures because it was a hot day and I didn't want my icecream to melt. The parking jot needs to be repaved and relined. This did not determine the steady stream of customers but was enough to make a comment about it. This little icecream shop seems to be the place to go for icrecream in New Carlisle. I recommend it if you're in the area on a hot summer day in need of icecream. Not sure that I'd drive a long distance to it just for the icecream, but I do want to return to try other frozen treats. My server did a good job of explaining what the Super bowl sundae was."

"Both of my sandwiches were cold...I would say maybe the dasher took too long to pick them up except the cheese wasnt even melted so that tells me dunkin just barely heated them up at all...also this my 3rd time getting iced coffee from there in different variations and they havent been good any time, but at other dunkins they have been good so I dont know whats different about this one."

"Reasons for pleasure was the perfect place for a guy to meet a lady for a first date. The coffee was excellent and the service friendly and great! So naturally it was also the perfect place to have friends and family gather after our wedding last Friday! The ladies were fantastic despite the sudden rush of our little group! Once again the coffee and food was excellent and made our special day even more unforgettable! We often come back!"

"We really wanted to like this place more than we did. The atmosphere was so much fun, vibrant, and felt lively. We were really excited the minute we stepped in the door. And that is as far as we had to get before it started to fall apart. We stood there for about 10 minutes while servers walked around us, and the person at the reception area was busy doing something on the computer in front of her. Never even tried to make eye contact with us. Finally, she turned and yelled at a group of servers and told one to get over and seat us. So he did. We sat for another 20 minutes before our server came to take our order. That was the last time we saw him. Food was delivered by another person, and that was the end of service. The food was incredibly disappointing. I LOOKED good, but I can only describe the cheese in the chile relleno as processed, and the tortillas as generic. Honestly, some of the worst Mexican food I have had in a while. After waiting another good 20 minutes after we were finished and no sign of the waiter, I got up and went back to the host stand while she continued to ignore me. FINALLY someone walked up and asked what I needed and I simply said, to pay for my food. He found our server, and the server came over and handed me the check, with no apology, or even a care. And although this place was ripe for someone to dine-and-dash, I did the right thing and paid the $60 bill, and we left. As we were walking to the car my husband informed me that while I was trying to pay, the man at the table next to us was telling the server that he refused to pay for his food because it was so awful and they had waited for so long. So we weren 't the only ones not happy with the establishment. Not sure why there are such high reviews here, but I would say stay away and hit the chili joint next to it."

"The tacos are always on point but they kinda messed up this time; I asked for no avocado on the Dynamite Shrimp Taco but found they put it on them anyways. I picked off what I could but still had some stuck inside. Im still gonna order from here anyways"

"Service was great, eating was great, however, I paid $13.95 for the carnitas, could not finish, got a take home box. I came to the car and realized that I had a box on our table left. my daughter went back to get it and it was gone. I understand a fast turnaround time, but in the rule the box is set aside if the patron returns. fewer than 5 minutes were past, no one was helpful or seemed worried. very disappointed!"
