What User likes about Hunan House:
hunan house is absolutely tasty, the best place I found (I have tried pretty much every Chinese restaurant in greater new haven area.) very cheap prices, even during the pandemic, if all the cost of the restaurant supplies have tripled! as a Chinese american, this is the best, most authentic Hunan cuisine in the opposite, without doubt. What User doesn't like about Hunan House:
I got the steamed soup dumplings and shu mai to go. It says on the menu that they were both non frozen, handmade dim sum, but I doubt it. The wrapper of the soup dumpling was thick, and there was only a tiny amount of meat inside. The shumai was small and it only had sticky rice in it but no shrimp or pork as what its name suggested.
