What Bagwati Kar likes about Rainbow:
We ordered sweet and sour pork and shrimp fried rice. These dishes reminded me of my childhood. Both were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent; we arrived just as they were closing but didn't feel rushed at all. The prices were very reasonable. View all feedback. What Charley Herman doesn't like about Rainbow:
Not much choice in town. Sunday night was 'smorgasbord' night, a strange one for an oriental restaurant, but the food was okay. Neither the exterior nor the interior are anything more than utilitarian, but the dishes and utensils appeared clean. Grab-it-yourself drinks from a cooler were a new one for us in a sit-down restaurant. Not open for breakfast. View all feedback.

read moreThe Rainbow Restaurant in Hazeltons offers limited dining options in a small town setting. The interior and exterior are basic, but clean. The Sunday night 'smorgasbord' menu was unusual for an oriental restaurant, but the food was decent. The grab-it-yourself drink system was unique. However, some dishes did not meet expectations, like a bland salad and tasteless meat dishes. For those seeking familiar comfort food, classics like chow suey and shrimp fried rice were well-prepared. Overall, the restaurant has potential for improvement in quality and variety. Visitors may want to consider other dining options in the area.
