"My gumbo was super bland and the balance of rice to the rest of it was off. I helped it out with a generous amount of salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. My wife had the Shrimp Po-Boy. It is HUGE. Probably 12-14 inches long and super-stuffed (as advertised). Her shrimp was super good and perfectly cooked. The rest of it was just so-so. I like the vibes of the location. There's even a bobcat in the men's restroom. I would try it again though. Worth a visit!"

"There 's great crawfish and then there is the best crawfish experience of my entire life!!! The delicious Cajun Claws was rated GQ 's top 10 restaurants in the country. A true dive bar. I even toured the kitchen where they make the magic happen was introduced to the owner, Mr Donni a huge fan of my dad, Clarence Gatemouth Brown. He was as warm welcoming as they come. A true crawfish boil master, with the most impressive technique for assuring the best flavor possible. I really enjoyed learning about the production and selection process for the best boiled crawfish Louisiana has to offer. The added bonus was getting to taste huge, select crawfish (no smallsies), seasoned to absolute perfection spicy and not overly salty. Delicious mixed drinks, great small beer selection that was served in a frosty mug groovy playlist curated by Brooke, one of their most amazing associates. If you think you 've had great crawfish, I beg you to take a trip to Abbeville to try this hidden gem. Their fried shrimp are amazing as well. You will not be disappointed. Call ahead to check their hours, as they are only serving during peak crawfish season specific times to guarantee the best selection."

"Fantastic and unique seasoning blend for the boiled crawfish. My wife said the raw oysters were delicious. The Cajun Sriracha oysters were excellent. FYI, the Cajun Sriracha oysters should probably be considered medium rare. They are definitely not raw and definitely not cooked all the way. But delicious coming from someone who does not care for raw oysters."

"I have to give it 3 because the service good. But it if weren’t for the food or the staff, this would not be getting a star.I had to use the restroom before I left again, and I chose to hold it until we were find somewhere else. It was just too gross."
