What User likes about Cross Sound Ferry:
Getting Essy on the ferry without reservations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The ferry ride is about an hour and 20 minutes but there is room to get a real lunch on the ferry or breakfast or dinner. They have a pretty good sandwich menu, coffin, paintings and more. What Romaine Beatty doesn't like about Cross Sound Ferry:
Not too happy lately with the 2 price increases they've made in the last year to travel on base and full fare ticket prices. They rarely take advantage of cheap members only rates when times are lean pickings for travel times for them. I don't see any improvements with the boats or anything that will benefit the drivers with the price increases. I enjoy taking the ferry for my travel reasons and I'm sure I've had fun...
