I've been a few times and the food is decent for fried food, but the hotdogs and fries leave something to be desired. It's simple to stop by the shanty after a day on the boat, but it's fairly slow for the season. I believe it's a seasonal restaurant and if that's the case, it's totally not worth going unless you're looking for slow fast food style food.
