"I was pleasantly surprised that Shaya lived up to the hype. Five stars. The fried chicken hummus is a must. Wait and order after this is finished. It was a perfect balance of savory and sweet on their amazing bread. If you only come for drinks and an appetizer then order this and be happy. A table favorite. The lamb was good. Tender and perfectly cooked. The flavor was mild and side salad was enough for us to both share. Cinnamon babka was yummy, but I might try another"

"The food was good, but unfortunately not the $240/person price day. The warm lobster salad was very salty and the pan meerrote G... the wine pairing has not impressed us either. We enjoyed the lamb and Pavlova. There was also a mix with a credit card, and the restaurant took 4 phone calls at 10 a.m. to find out. Very unique building/layout. We can return for drinks in the future. I would not recommend the tasting menu, not worth it at their price."

"Came twice on our trip, once for breakfast and once for beignets. The pancake breakfast was really good, but the pancakes have a lot of lemon juice in them. The vegan Beignets were also a rare find, although they were really tiny for the amount we paid for them, and it took about 45 minutes, so leave enough time for them!"

"SO GOOD. Super authentic and delicious Ethiopian food. 100% hitting this place up again the next time I'm in New Orleans. My partner and I both loved it. Also, pricing was super reasonable! It was the least expensive dinner we had in our few days in New Orleans and easily our favorite one too. Fantastic value for money. All around I highly recommend this place!"

"I just left. We went as we were sending my dad back to Boston. We had a wonderful time. Our server Shannon and her TEAM were awesome. I wish I had gotten both of their names because they deserve extremely high praise as well for the wonderful service and friendly humor. You 2 gentlemen were Great!!! Huge wine list!! There is something for everyone. The food was delicious. We had the oysters, boudin balls, and the royal reds which was a special for an appetizer. All 3 were highly recommend. Totally on point. We all had different entrees. My dad's steak was cooked and tasted wonderful. My shank was fall off the bone savory deliciousness. My wife's pork chop with bacon and mashed potatoes were perfect. But the best was yet to come. We were recommended the key lime ice box pie and the chocolate chip cookies with vanilla milk. Key Lime Ice Box Pie is Awesome!!!! Really, chocolate chip cookies I mean they are just chocolate chip cookies right. Nope. They were pretty much the best damn chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. Plus the vanilla milk that was paired with them was outstanding. I am so glad we went. Thank you again to Shannon and her TEAM!!! They made our night truly special. Thank you. We will be back."
