Visited Tia Maria's on a Wednesday afternoon. There was street parking right in front of the restaurant. We were the only customers there at the time and Dulce was our waitress. It was clean and had typical Latin decor. One can see the kitchen staff as they prepare your food. I went here for lunch last week and sorry to say it wasn't great. The service left much to be desired and the food was disappointing. I ordered the carne asada plate with plantains. When I received the food, it was a whole large slab of meat. When I went to cut it...it was TOUGH. So I ate a piece it was like chewing rubber.
