"Shaya is just top a tier dining experience, world class food and drinks with excellent service. Love the Israeli inspired menu and all of the Salatims especially the heirloom tomatoes in whipped garlic!! "A perfect evening from start to finish. We arrived a little early for our reservation but our table was ready so they sat us. Celebrating our anniversary we were brought to a perfect corner table which was decorated with hearts. Carly greeted us and took excellent care of us. We started with amazing handcrafted cocktails and heard about the specials. There was not one item that came to the table that we didn’t love. Everything was plated beautifully and was prepared to perfection. Gerard, the wait staff assistant took pride in his work as well. Our water was never empty and our plates were removed in a timely and non disruptive manner. If we could give it 10stars we would but 5 is the max so 5 it is. We look forward to coming back with out of town guests!"

"Food is delicious! Stopped by because every other place had long lines and we were starving. Weren't sure what to expect but the food was amazing. There were only two servers so it was extremely hectic, but the food was brought out quick. The beignets were soft and fluffy and the omelets delicious and filled with so much seafood, we ordered three seafood omelets! The hash browns are more of breakfast potatoes but very yummy. Definitely recommend. However if you are looking for authentic gumbo or the like, this may not be the restaurant. If you want a quaint little place with yummy food then this is a must-try!"

"My second time being at this place and it still rocks! Last time was in 2020 on our BBQ Roadtrip. Today I had the 3 meat plate w ribs, brisket and sausage. 2 sides mac n cheese and coleslaw. Comes with white bread but get some of their cornbread muffins... super good! Everything was great and service was friendly and quick"

"Cornbread waffle! worth mentioning. I tried that with fried chicken strips. Syrup is good and thick and sweet. For it had more room for improvement. Bathroom fan was loud, but it was relatively clean. Interior of the restaurant was cozy, tables filled almost every corner. They sell their own merch. Big ice cubes we like."

"I moved to New Orleans from Jersey City, New Jersey, almost a year ago with my wife. Although I like some of the other pizzerias in New Orleans, I was missing that pizza taste from back home. I was told over and over again from friends who had moved to New Orleans from NJ and NYC that Pizza D was legit. We finally decided to drive there and give it a go. The garlic knots and pepperoni pizza are the closest to thing to what I know back home. My only complaint is that they don't deliver to Mid City. Hey, not everything can be perfect, but it's definitely worth the drive!"
