What a great first restaurant experience for our four-year-old son. Great food (best popcorn chicken! . Really reasonable prices (food and drinks). And the staff should all knock on their backs. Watch readers. Friendly. Super welcoming. Man, you all made our little man feel like a king. Thank you. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about The Mayfair:
Lots of seating and great pub/bar ambience. Perfect bar meals/snack options. Just a few crafts on tap however we really enjoyed black dogs IPA. Was a bit steep at $12 a pint but service and staff was great. View all feedback.

"A must in New Plymouth for breakfast lunch or in between. I had the burrito and it was delicious; lots of taste and a healthy portion. Coffee was great, like the juice. Food and drinks came out quickly and the staff was friendly and attentive."

"We've eaten here once my husband loved it I thought it was good, quick value for money food. There wasn't much of an atmosphere going on and I wouldnt go here on a date but for a quick dine out meal when needed. A tip given to us towards the end of our dinner was to get the chefs to hold some sauce back and throw it on your food right before they serve it because the sauces/flavour often get cooked away from the grilling process."
