"While on vacation my husband was wanting a steak dinner. We arrived round 7pm on a Thursday night. Blackbeard's offers complimentary valet, which was nice. There was no wait and were immediately seated at a booth. The restaurant was fairly full and the tables were a little close together. Our waitress quickly brought us a bucket of really good rolls, cinnamon rolls with real butter and got our drinks for us. My husband and I both ordered the New York Strip $25.95 for a 14 ounce steak, salad bar and side. The salad bar was not extensive, kind of old school, but very good. The steak was delicious and huge! My husband got fries for his side dish and I got the baked potato. Usually I consider both of these as throw away items, but my potato was hot and freshly baked. My husband's fries were also crispy a freshly cooked. Very enjoyable meal."

"Order of filippo’s all the time, called tonight actually not even get my food. but nod was amazing! he took care of my needs and assured me that I would get absolutely what I wanted! I love this place and we will order our pizza from here all the time!"

"3rd time here I was very good nice employees good ice cream never had an issue with this place. And they also will give you free dog cups of ice cream upon asking. I recommend this place anybody visiting the area or living in the general facinity never had a let down from this place.Always good ice cream."

"I finally went! It was sooooo eclectic and cozy as soon as I walked in! The staff were all inviting and beyond fun and friendly! The menu was right up my alley! Although I don 't eat red meat or pork that wasn 't a big deal, they had plenty of 'just as creative ' menu items for me to chose from, so many that I really had a hard time finalizing it! They had a nice selection of wine to boot! Don 't be like me and wait...go, I can 't wait to return!"

"After so many years order nothing but your wonderful rock shrimps, I ordered a file Mignon and you are right, you have the BEST steaks. That's the best I ever had! Wonderful meal at an affordable price. Always great at JC Riptide with wonderful, attentive service, and hands to owners who ensure that your evening is pleasant and your meal is right. Great conversation last night. Riptides is definitely one of the best places to eat, a real hometown jewel. Great salads, always served on a chilled plate and my husband loves your Oak Hill Chowder. I am a creature of old habits, love a baked potato with a steak or rock shrimps, and the way you really bake them with salt on them is the best. Quint, large staff and very affordable."
