August Schell Brewing Company - New Ulm

I enjoyed a Fresh Prints IPA tasted like citrus and was very smooth. The atmosphere is family oriented with picnic benches and board games indoors with handicap access to all areas including lower levels.

Incredible beer, friendly staff, beautiful facility. Wish we came the day before on Sunday, as the biergarten had live music. Definitely coming back when we visit next year!

Rude !!! We came here from Iowa on a convertible tour. Our group of 36 people went on a WAY TOO LONG tour almost 2 hours) of the history or the place. My husband and I got bored about 40 minutes in so we went to sit outside to wait for the group. In the meantime, a peacock flew toward us and an “employee” from the brewery came and FREAKED OUT on our group of 3 thinking we chased or antagonized peacock. She the proceeded to call the cops. The cops came, interviewed us and knew the lady that called. They admitted she was a woman trying to puff her feathers and show power. We will NEVER return to this brewery or New Ulm for that matter. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

Awesome place with a gift shop and tasting room. The tours are incredible and I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed the tour so much, and the guide was incredible! Of course, the beer ? is top notch! We look forward to going back again!!
